West Virginia Association Elementary Middle School Principals & West Virginia Association Secondary Principals held their annual conference at the Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, November 13, 14, 15, 2011.   Over 100 principals, assistant principals, county office administrators, and other individuals  attended the conference.  There were presentations by Dr. Marple, State Superintendant of  West Virginia Schools, Dr. Steve Paine, former State Superintendant of  West Virginia Schools,  and West Virginia Reading Association.  Michele Blatt, Executive Director of the Department of School Improvement of West Virginia Department of Education  presented on the new Evaluation Systems being piloted in some of our schools. The West Virginia Center of Professional Development sponsored a presentation on the National Board Certification of Principals.  Our annual banquet was a grand event with Mr. Jim Justice being our Keynote Speaker.
