EVALUATION BILLS HAVE BEEN INTRODUCED IN BOTH HOUSES
January 25th, 2012 . by Frank CollierHouse Bill 4236 has been introduced in the House of Delgates by request of the Executive. The bill has a corresponding Senate Bill, Senate Bill 372. Principals and teachers need to check this out. Some things to keep in mind: Strikethroughs indicate removal of those words stricken through. Underlined text is text to be added. There are 14 pages of new text. Be sure to check out page 11 where student progress is to be an indicator of the educator performance. The use of school wide student learning growth as measured by the state-wide summative assessment is indicated to measure the performance of the employees in that school.
